Brewery tap. Orange brown color, slightly cloudy. Sherry in the aroma. Bittersweet flavor, the beer must be massively hopped, but also a malty sweetness. Hints of orange, cream sherry, butter and plums. Less body as expected.

Bottled (backlog, had in Poirotti, may that pub RIP as well). Hazy orangeish amber colour with a rich white head. Aroma is mild herbs, alcohol, yeast, spices and slight acidic wooden notes. Flavour is wood, herbs, yeast, mild tartness as well as some grains.

Hazy redbrown color, short head, tiny particles floating around. Aroma of caramel malt, alcohol, some dried fruit, some bread and cookie. Very malty taste, bit fruity, slightly alcoholic, some anis and pepper maybe. Quite complex. Decent barley wine like beer.

Dark brown color, good creamy tanned head. Aroma is plummy with fresh lemony notes and a bit of hay. Medium to full bodied. Yeast is dominating behind that chocolate with hints of rye and licorice. Liquerish palate.
