(bottle) Clear, ruby brown colour with a big but not very persistent beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with pronounced notes of caramel and a subtle dried fruity touch. Moderately sweet flavour with a balancing level of bitterness, full bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Moderately toasty and slightly sugary malt-character with caramel, a tinge of herbal hops and shy hints of alcohol in the warming, not too sweet finish. Pleasant. 24.II.11

Bright, chestnut colour. Full toffee nose with brown sugar, sugar tart...big doppelbock aromas! Fairly light bodied but sweet and alcoholic. Toffee, brown sugar, even panela. Balanced, there’s a little alcohol to cut through the sugars.
