Der Wunsiedler Wonnesud der Hönicka Bräu, Flasche per Post vom Landbierparadies. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienbraun, klar. (14.12.2024.)

Bottle. Very dark copper to brown, low offwhite head. Sourdough bready nose. Medium body, chewy on the palate. Toasted Müslibar, honey, caramel, juicy malt, lightly grassy and flowery hop counterpoint - great balance and quite moreish.

Aroma has vegetables, malt and barnyard. Sweetish taste with malt, caramel, coffee and orange. Re-rate: Malt, tobacco and apple syrup in the aroma. Malty sweetish, slightly roasted flavor with apple syrup and caramel.

Bottled, from Hier gibt's Bier. Clear mahogany colur, firm mid sized head. Bready nose with some dates. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark bread and raisins. Low bitterness. Pleasant.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Dark brown in the glass, more than two finger frothy light tanned head. Some malt and low coffee on the nose. Taste starts swett malty, very low toasted, some green apples in the background. Quaffable. Easy drinker. Without real deepness.

Bottle looks very simple, but okay. Beer in the glass amber coloured, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest earthy. Light dry background. Light hints of caramel. Finish well balanced. Okay.

50cl bottle. Pours clear dark orange brown colour with a huge most good lasting light beige head. Aroma of red fruits, dark malt, light sourish. Taste of dark malt, caramel, some metallic hops, not really good!!
