Hand-pulled half-pint in my local Spoon's on 6th November 2024. Golden amber body, white crown that lasted. Citrus lead in the nose and taste, good bitterness and a crisp herbal bite in the finish.

Cask at the Cornfield Exchange JDW, Eastbourne. Poured a clear light amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee malt, light citrus. The flavour is over moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light toffee, citrus, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On cask @ the Guildford Arms. Appearance - deep golden and clear. White head. Nose - caramel, biscuit and honeycomb. Taste - there's a general Crunchie Bar thing going on. Some green apple lurking. Palate - light to medium bodied, dry finish. Overall - decent and traditional.

Cask at Orkney Brewery. It pours clear yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft bready malt, fresh, vibrant, zingy, tangy citrus, lemonade, grapefruit, pomelo, tangerine, sherbet and candy. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing and lingering bitterness, clean, pithy, zesty, floral accents, plenty of citrus fruits, lemony, grapefruit, pomelo, waxy tangerine rind, touch of bread and cereal in the malt base with a dry, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. A different beast on cask, so vibrant. Great stuff.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has floral hops and some hints of pine. Pretty much the same in the mouth, where there is a harsh hoppy bitterness at the start which gradually mellows. Later on mango and hints of spices come through as well. The finish is bitter and sticky and rather puts me off it.
