Keg at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2023. Reddish purple colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are sweet to tart black currant. very much cassis. crisp body.

330ml. bottle. @Dornie Acommodation, Dornie (Scotland). 06/08/2023 [#6.686 Global - #222 Scotland - #1 Dookit Brewery (My Scottish brewery #75)] Pours dark reddish with a pinkish head. Aroma: tart, blackcurrant, red berries and funk. Taste: sour blackcurrant and funk. Sharp bitter mouthfeel. Next one please!

Keg at the hanging bat. Pours clear reddish, nose is blackcurrant, funk, taste is sharp, funky, tart blackcurrant, some plant stalk.

keg at the hanging bat... deep red copper.. thin tan.. soft sweet earthy.. Light vinegar nose.. soft earth.. Light funk.. soft fruit

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear purple with a thick pink head. Aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry, faint sour notes. Taste is sharp sour, blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf. Sharp bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep murky purple. Creamy pink head. Nose - blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf and an edge of black cherry. Taste - blackcurrant, cherry lozenge and am edge of liquorice or menthol. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle then tart finish. Overall - good, properly sour!
