Tap at the Brauhaus, Bamberg 0,5ltr: The weisse-version of the Braunbier and must say not bad at all. Hazy brown with some fruity taste.

Golden color, hazy. Banana and mandarin aroma. Slight bitter flavor with banana, a hint of cherry and just a touch of smokiness. A bit yeasty. Tasty weizen!

At Klosterbrau, bamberg. Hazy golden beer, small head. Aroma is wheat, lemon. Taste is the same, not bad.

Hazy, amber to brown colored, medium+ frothy white head. Aroma is of bready banana, cloves, some citric notes. Taste is of banana bread, medium sweet, wheat, some cloves and yeast, moderate citric acidity, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Decent Weizen. (on tap, Klosterbrau, Bamberg)

Sehr trübes goldenes Weizen mit einer ordentlichen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hefig, etwas Nelke, fruchtig, trocken. Geschmack bananig, leicht würzig, trocken, hefig.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Cloudy yellow colour with a large white head. Malty-wheaty nose with a touch of banana.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 10 Okt 14. Gyldenbrun / Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Høyt pent skum. Forsiktig sitrusaroma. Smaken sitrus & banan. Velbalansert og passe søt. Et godt hveteøl!

500ml vom fass, shared with Finn at the brewpub. Almost clear apricot coloured body. White layer at the top leaving dotted spots on the glass. Wheat and fruity aromas. Flavour of wheat, earthy malts, citrus and added by subdued banana sweetness. Not overly sweet. Medium bodied. Decent weizen (Bamberg 10.10.2014).
