Bottle from Booths, Kendal. Strong Ale at 4.5 % ABV. Not my definition of strong. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 100220

Bottle. Rubber aroma with apple. Malty, slightly hopbitter flavor with caramel, pear and rubber. Bought in Cumbria and drunk at home. Maybe this beer doesn't travel well.

Many thanks to simontomlinson for this bottle. Smooth dry malty beginning. Round and deep, caramelly with not much bitterness. Smooth with grainy hints, sessionable but a bit one-dimensional with hints of sweetness in the end.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Borough in Lancaster. Next to clear mahogany coloured body under a steady beige head. Spotty lacing. Bread and dough on the nose. Mid-sweet grainy malts to the taste bud, vague hints of berry-fruits. Ends with a bittersweet touch. Quite alright. (06.02.2019).

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/7/2017. Deep amber in colour, with a decent, white, head. Bready malts, slightly sour red berries, some leafy hops and moderately bitter finish. So so drinking.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - amber red with a decent lacy head. Nose - burnt toffee and molasses. A bit earthy. Taste - more burnt toffee, some red fruits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long tangy yet sweet finish. A bit thin. Overall - it’s a solid ale.
