440ml can from brewery. Pale gold , small white head, thin retention. Aroma of sweet pale malts with a fresh graininess coming through, lemon and floral hop, clean. Taste is semi-sweet, clean malt profile with grain, grass, lemon, moderately crisp finish. Light bodied and refreshing. In consideration of Mexican style lager, this is certainly a lot better than Sol! At around £3.80 a can though I don't think I will be buying a crate of these for the fridge come the summer, not that I'll be buying Sol either.

citrussy very authentic mexican lager like aroma, only more body and more powerful and less skunky and less herbal bitter than your random mexican macro. flavor is pale lager with a hint of lemongrass, some sweet malts and a little bit more flavor body than what is normal. While the aroma clearly reminded me of mexican macro lager (only a better version), the flavor just as well reminds me of south european lager, especially the sweet malty part. The amazing part is the bottle is best before end 2021 08 20 - and it is being tasted now, 2023-05-16 and it tastes pretty good thank you, not every 4.5% pale lager will taste anyhere near pretty good at that age. Only when I try to look for hints of aging, can I find them.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grassy, grainy, floral, dusty and a bit weedy. Pours clear pale golden color with large soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy and citrusy, following is grassy and honeyish, mouthfeel is rather dry and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Simple and quaffable…

Keg draught at the Soar Point, Leicester. Light gold with a light haze and a small off-white head. Mineral and grainy atoma with some hard citrus zest. Sweet yesterday, lots of sweet honeyed yeast notes with a light bitterness at the finish. Soft to medium carbonation. As commercial lagers go this is pretty ace.
