Lots of raw hop power thanks to big American hops, but unlike most beers said to be west coast it doesn't offend you with bitterness. Inspired by our other aftertaste heavy beer Mount Olympus, only more aggressive and lower ABV. Sunset orange clear hue and a resinous piny grapefruit taste.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Pours a dark gold with thin white top. Slightly rustic grain noted IPA with marmalade, stone fruits, pine, grass. Not exactly punchy but quite pleasant. Went down well on a session out.

Cask at the Shaking Hand, Shirley, Solihull. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big malt, light hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, ovaltine malt, earthy, light citrus, light pepper spice, super light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tasted nothing like the commercial description.

Keg at the Burning Soul Taproom, Bingohame, 18/02/23. Hazed dark orange with an off white cap that thins in time. Nose is bitter orange, grass, straw, melon. Taste comprises orange marmalade, light herb, grass, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with leafy hop bitterness. Okay if a touch raw and green in places.

Keg @ Tap & Can. Unclear deep gold appearance, pure white froth atop. Bitter, thin, piney, bitter.. comes across a bit west coasty. Doesn't taste the freshest unfortunately. Rated kindly.
