For this year's Collabageddon, Heist Brew Co came to play. We unashamedly appropriated their Sheffield heritage went for the Full Monty, using HDHC to create an insane beer. This technique sees us use all the new hop technologies available to us to pack as much flavour as possible into every drop, the equivalent of 35 g/l of standard hop pellets.

Keg at the Attic taproom Stirchley, 18/02/23. Hazed orange with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, pine resin, mango, melon. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, light floral wave, orange peel, grapefruit, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy hop bitterness. Okay easy drinking and approachable DIPA if lacking some bitterness and coming home a touch overly sweet.

Draft, half pint. @Attic Brew Taproom, Birmingham (UK). 18/02/2023 [#5.946 Global - #709 England - #5 Attic Brew Co.] Pours cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Aroma: orange rind, pineapple, grapefruit zest and hint of citrusy hops. Taste: nectarine, pineapple and orange zest. Zesty mouthfeel. Light lingering hop burn. Next one please!

1/3 pint, on tap at North Taproom Snow Hill. Shared with Finn. Upper part lacing from a filmy layer, cloudy golden body. Plenty of citrus on the nose. Citrus to the taste buds, orange up front, added by juicy malts. Semi-dry and semi-sweet fruity ending. Decent. (Birmingham 14.02.2023).

Tap at the brewery. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is sticky hop, spicy citrus, orange rind grass. Palate is semi sweet, nectarine, waxy citrus, plastic, mango, papaya. Palate is semi sweet, sticky hop moderate carbonation. Some hop burn.

Appelsinfarget. Filmskum. Veldig uklar. Lett sitrusaroma. Smaken fersken & aprikos. Søt bitter avslutning. På det jevne.
