Bottle from McTapps, many thanks. Chestnut brown color with small off-white head. Caramel malt, honey, herbal hops in aroma. Taste, caramel malt, honey, very light smokiness , hoppy bitterness in finish.

Bottle. Murky prune-brown body, thin beige head. Nose of toffee, prune, and raisin toast. Body of layered breads and toast, raisin, and prune, also some fig or tobacco leaf and light rubbery phenolic notes. Light and yeasty.

500mL bottle, sent from mwgroove23 (thanks Mike), pours a dark amber with a small white head. Aroma of toasted hazelnuts, caramel, and quite a prominent character of figs / dates. Flavour is very similar, with notes of figs / dates, caramel and toasted hazelnuts. Despite a very malty, slightly sweet flavour profile, the body is rather bready and dry. Easily drinkable stuff, with a great balance. Great stuff.

A little better than the Zwickl for me. Has less candied malt, a little more salty and buttery as well. Pours clear orange with good head and lacing. Crisp finish. Average carbonation with oily texture. Bottle.

Whole Foods, Bowery 50cl ($4): Pours a brownish amber with an off-white head. Aroma is earth and caramel malts. Taste is pretty sweet. Mild hoppy tinge. A bit of a sugary aftertaste. Nice an well balanced. Reminds my of a more fulfilling oktoberfest.

500ml flip top bottle. Here is a weird one for you. Sort of has the brown chocolate baker tones of a dunkel, with the light, bland malt tones of a dark lager. Not really so expertly executed, also doesn’t seem so fresh. Sort of has that cheap Eastern European thing going on. Not impressive at all, boring, cheap, extract tasting dark lager.

Świetny landbier/kellerbier z czerwono bordowym odcieniem, mocna piana aż się wychyla z nad kufla. W smaku orzechowo karmelowo gożkawe piwo. Bardzo treściwe i pełne.
