bottle from Edeka Besenbeck Neuendettelsau. Clear pale yellow, large, creamy white head. Lovely resiny hop aroma. Light and elegant malty background with lots of dry, resiny and slightly grassy hops, very "Franconian" hop profile plus some good bitterness. A very nice beer.

Poured into .2 l beer glass. Fizzy head faded fast, almost no lacing on glass. This beer has a bite to it, a sharp taste combining with the carbonation for a nice party on your tongue. Crisp and clear pilsener with an edge. I wasn’t expecting something this good from a brewery I’d never heard of, a very pleasant surprise. This was purchased from a getrankmarkt in Nuremburg area, so I assume it is local to Franconia.

On tap at Kolbászda Bajor Étterem, Budapest. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, very lively carbonation, pretty dry dusty nose. Moderate malty, fairly hoppy and slight herbal with rather dry bitter finish. Quite nice pils.

Draught at Kolbászda Bajor Étterem. Poured a shiny yellow body, quite carbonated. Big, thick white head that went away slowly. Malty, grainy honeyish nose. Dry, empty grainy taste. Slightly soapy and herbal. Just ok.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine hoppy, not too dry. Modest sourish. Fine spicy. Well balanced finish. Very drinkable and good pilsener.
