(Draught on 2008-06-28) Pale yellow and clear. Medium-sized dense white head. Very light nose with tiny hint of hops. Light palate with lots of carbonation. Some bitterness and hint of malts in taste. Drank this in an Indian restaurant in which the food was luckily ok. Water would’ve been better companion than this beer-like think.

11.2 fl oz US export bottle from Plonkers, Friarsgate, Derby. Gold with a thick cream head; grassy hop aroma; creamy, grainy body with a touch of apple; sweet cardboard finish. Not bad, but hardly "Scotlands Finest".

Medium white head. Yellow body with powerful carbonation. Mild apple and malt aroma with mealy notes. Dryish mealy watery taste of malts, apple, and paper with peppery notes. Very watery and tasteless. Hardly any aftertaste. Extremely bland and dull. (0.5l can from some Belfast shop. Marked just "Tennent’s", at 4.0%.)

11.2 oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is lime-citrus, sweet grassy/light malt. Taste is sweet grassy/light malt-caramel/honey-like, lime-citrus hops. Light/medium body. OK effervescence/carbonation.

bottle - Pours clear bronze with a medium head. The aroma is corn malt. The flavor is corn malt and some mild hops. At least it’s not terribly watery. Easy drinking with a lightly bitter finish, this beer is actually pretty good for the style, but that’s not saying much.

Something new at my beer store. 12 oz green bottle. Has the look of a ubiquitous lager, with very nice attractive streams of carbonation. This makes a beer fun to look at. Skunk smell first then once in the glass it has a more beerlike aroma. The taste is good and clean. without being offensive on the finish. There is enough mechanical bitterness to keep this beer interesting. Lagerlike with some backthroat bite. Well behaved during the session. Good to medium carbonation tingle without being overwhelming. Overall a decent lager that is a little too expensive for this area considering the taste of Schmidts. Good entry into the style if cost was not a problem.

Canned (Thanks GarethYoung!). Pale golden colour with small white bubbly head. Aroma is malts and cowshit (I cheat you not!, the totally weird sweetness reminds of cs...). Flavour is sweet malts along with grassy hops, especially in the finish the hops becomes present.
