Tennent’s is more than just a great lager– it is a national treasure. As a product, it has always been known for being a great pint - dating back to its long history from 135 years ago when Hugh Tennent brought the recipe back from Bavaria.

Táp @ any Orcadian public bar. I d not understand why they are drinking this in the home of ales. Mystery. Indeed.

First beer ever drunk in Scotland. From tap at The George in Inveraray. Just a normal not special lager.

From old tasting notes. Brilliant tawny gold color. Bubbly white head. Clean, mild malt aroma. Light malt flavor with a touch of dryness.mcrisp, yet light.msimilar to Coors Banquet without the graininess. Light dry finish with with very little aftertaste.

On tap at Filling Station, Edinburgh. Comes with a bright golden color and a nice medium sized white head. Nose is restrained, some malts, some sweetness, some hops. Clean taste of creals, hints of sweetness and just a little bitter.

*On tap in Dunlewy, Ireland as "Ice cold-version". Smooth and grainy brew. Not too deep with not much bitterness. Round and sessionable, but not very deep - especially not "ice-cold".
