Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet, some peachy tones malts and some toffee tones. Flavour is toffee, some malts, mild grainy and some earthy tones. Also a slight tart edge to it. (Rating done in Brussels 2012, but I can't remember what the pub is called, good and big vintage list, somewhat close to Manneken Pis).

Thick, creamy head. Hoppy, herbal aroma with caramel. Sweetish, hoppy, herbal taste with caramel and citrus. Fairly complex.

Amber coloured session beer with caramelly, sweetish but simple character, somewhat grainy taste, honeyish and dried fruity touches, soft hop bitterish finish; rather boring. Was intended to accompany the namesake cheese but I’d select something different for that purpose. Superfluous, and I guess that is the reason why this was discontinued years ago.

250 ml bottle. Golden body with a big white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain and a little perfumed. Flavor is a bit sweet malty, some citric fruit and a bit sourness in the aftertaste. A bit dull.

From notes in 1996. Clear amber with bigh white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste of sweet caramel, apple and citrus. Interesting brew.

This one has a nice colour and appearance but lacks intense flavour. Has a mild wheaty taste.
