Hazy darker amber with a good white head. Nice wheaty aroma with notes of oxidation, honey. Midly sweet mouthfeel with light orange and coriander and light hops. Very short in mouth.

Bottled 25cl (BBE qq/2006)
Hazy golden, small white head. Sweetish, fruity nose (apricot). But flavor is not sweet: this is dry, woody with flavor of oat. Maltry aftertaste. Quite original and different blond ale.

(Bottle 25 cl) It’s not often there’s news from Moortgart, who seems to be busy producing their famous brands Duvel and Maredsous. But Passendale (which I believe is also the name of a nearby battlefield from WW1) came a few years ago. Amber colour, slightly hazy with a definite head. Nice and quite typical nutty ale-aroma. Pleasant but not spectacular. 280204

Bottle Murky, orange body. Off-white creamy head. Moslty lasting. Good lace. Citrus and malts in the nose.Lightly bitter, moderately sweet initial flavour. Heavily bitter finish.

Simple ale, a bit sweetish, probably not fresh anymore (the bottle is a few years old).

A dark yellow beer slightly unclear with a small creamy head. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty. And the flavor is creamy sweet with hints of oranges. A very refreshing beer.

Straw-gold. Flimsy white head. Nose of old-fashioned ink, candi-sugar, cake-icing. Taste of grain, pale malt and some grassy hops. Some madeirisation, despite within BBd. Persistent alcohol-burn. Rather dry, but good carbonisation. Overall, that's were it's rattling. Every item OK, sum is nowhere, characterless.
