Bottle served at Claim Jumper, Lombard, IL. Hop smell is a little bit light in the bottle. Pours pretty pale. In a shaker, it raises a big head that needs to settle for a while. Up close, I get a better hoppy smell, but the taste is nowhere near as hoppy as, say, the RB Powerhouse Pale I rated before this one. Recognizably northwestern hops, but not a lot. Perhaps better matched by the malts in this one.

Bottle . I had this at a friend’s super bowl party. This was the Seattle beer versus the Pittsburgh beer (Iron City). Needless to say, the beer battle went the opposite direction of the football game. Hops, malt, standard IPA.

12 oz bottle. Orange colored body with white head. A nice aroma of citrus and some apricot. Flavor is very harmonic indeed, a nice distinct hoppy flavor with a pleasant malt sweetness. A smooth mouthfeel and an appropriate bitter aftertaste. Not an outstanding beer, but so enjoyable when your just in for a taste of a nice flavorful beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Some citrus in the nose. Medium-bodied with notes of malt and citrus. Bitter finish. An IPA on the plain side. 110606

Bottle. Applejuice colour, big bubbles, low head. Somewhat neutral aroma. Nice fruity base, ok pine dominated hops. Medium to light body, a tad fizzy. Quick dry finish. Absolutely drinkable.

Nice hoppy flavor is present, also a bit of citrus and floral tones. There is definitely a dryness to this brew. Finish is crisp, but dry. Texture was a bit thin as well. A bit below average IPA.

Bottle. Bottling date was my birthday, what a nice suprise! Orange color, with a small white head. Tastes like a typical IPA, thank goodness it was not bad.

Poured sparkly gold with short white head. Aroma is mildly piney The flavor is bitter, but no distinct tastes present themselves. A little malty sweetness stands behind the bitterness. Dry finish. Average.

Bottle. Sweet orange and hops aroma. Yellow amber color with small head. Blended lightly sweet orange and moderate hops. Finish could be stronger. This was my first IPA - sometime back in 95 - obviously much more impressive with an immature palate.
