One of the very first beers to be brewed in the shed back in 2014 and has continued as a commercial success year on year.
Pouring jet black with enticing aromas of chocolate, vanilla, whiskey and coffee draw you in. A robust stout with roasted and chocolate bitterness balanced by the Madagascan vanilla. Warming bourbon and coffee follow and end with a slightly drying finish.

Chez Smith bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton for the can. Hazy brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin and slightly watery dark malts. Mild cocoa powder. Touch of dark fruits. Light dry finish. Thin and dull.

Can shared at Leightons place 3/5/2018. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a fine beige head. Aroma is woody malts, berries, cola cubes, woody. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cakey malts, jammy fruits, red berries, hint of vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, light oily.. Little cinnamon.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours jet black with a light tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, chocolate cake, vanilla, liquorice, toasty and sweet roast. The taste is rich, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, chocolate cake, vanilla, rocky road, toasty marshmallow, cherry, touch of spice, earth with a soft, sweet finish. Medium + body and average carbonation. Pretty well rounded, but on the sweeter side. Decent.
