Spotty beige head quickly left a coca cola looming glass. Gingerbread, stollen & Lebkuchen aroma. Full bodied, oily, greasy, silky & g lightly carbonated on the back with a sticky back. Wimberry, toffee, spices, pastry & boozy tastes with a tangy finish. Banger

Deep black stuff and a fine beige top Ok intensity in the aroma A bit to sweet this one Gentle carbonation level Dark malt, chocolate, oak, molasses and some spices in the flavor [On tap at Brygg in Oslo, Norway – Lasse 50]

Draught @ Væskebalancen Bar. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, mild spice, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, spice, cinnamon, bourbon. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. 101223

Can from stoutshop.dk. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish. Oily and soft. 051223

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly tan head. Nose is soft bourbon barrel and mild cinnamon buns. Smooth palate, a mild viscosity, decent fine carbonation emerging late on. Smooth rich dark malts, plenty of sweetish dark chocolate that blends marvellously with the rich fruity and slightly spicy bourbon barrelling. The toffee integrates nicely, sweetens the overall beer but never gets too much. Similarly the cinnamon bun thingmajig sits well back but is also integrates well. Finishes smooth, rich and slightly bourbon spicy. A really nice Amundsen pastry this one. The barrelling usually plays second fiddle to the adjuncts, not here, much better balance. The 13% is barely noticeable. Nice one. This beer has rekindled an interest in this brewery for me. Will be looking out for similar releases from them in the future.

Can. Has a dark brown to black colour with no head. Aroma of cinnamon bun, chocolate truffles, vanilla, salty licorice and coconut. Flavour of bourbon, roasted almonds, chocolate truffles, liqueur, sweet licorice, port and some tobacco. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a soft bitterness. Rich, tasteful and well balanced.

Svart med brunt skum. Lukter søt engelsk lakris, fløtekarameller, vanilje og sjokolade. Fyldig. Søt, noe sjokoladebitter. Smaker mørk sjokolade, karamellfudge, søt lakris og trevirke. Middels lang.
