Growler split at Pig’s Ear ’16, big thanks to Leighton, 29/11/16. Hazed orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange pith, papaya, mango, juicy citric flesh, light pine, cantaloupe melon. Taste comprises peach, toasted brioche, grapefruit zest, fleshy Tropicana, mango, pine resin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop rinse and light rise in alcohol. Overall an excellent DIPA, the alcohol is well masked and the balance is spot on.

Pigs Ear Fest. Growler - big thanks to Leighton. Very hazy gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and mildly minerally crisp. Touch of chalk. Hop skunk leads to mango, pineapple and pine and a little dry hop spice. Dry finish. A fine tasting DIPA, could be a little cleaner on the palate.

Shared from Leighton’s growler and by far the finest beer on show at Pigs Ear. Pours murky gold with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is tropical fruits and a hint of dank, skunks resin. Taste is lovely and fruity, with a hint of lemon and a touch of skunks resin. Really good stuff and such an easy drinking DIPA.

Growler at Pigs Ear. It pours cloudy golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, juicy, tangy, so much peach, mango, apricot, orange creamsicle, sherbet and brioche. The taste is smooth, mellow, very juicy, peach, apricot, mango, creamy, bready, brioche, candied peel, grassy, dankness and pine with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Soft, juicy and quaffable. Pretty delicious!

Medium sweet flavour with stabling pale bread base, loads more juicy tangerine, mango, peach. Medium toll bodied with fine to average carbonation. Growler from Hill about 1 week old enjoyed in glassware. Beautiful thick orange color, looks great. slightly yellow 1 finger head. Smells like juicy pineapple, grapes, pine and salt. Flavor is nice. Thick mouthfeel, a little sweet but other than that, the juicy hop flavor is throughout with bread like mouthfeel and apples. a

At the Mule Bar, Winooski, VT.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a crisp juicy pale orange color. Bar pour’s kind of slim white head dissipates immediately leaving some speckled lace running here and there.
The aroma started off with thick sweet orange juicy pulp. Bitter citrus rind accompanies nicely. Subtle sweet grassy to lemony notes hit as well.
The flavor leads with pure bittersweet juicy orange pulp. Grassy notes come back in a nice balanced fashion. No aftertatse. Balanced bittersweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. ABV seems well hidden. Decent smoothness.
Overall, really nice juicy DIPA that I would love to have again.
