(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a foamy, slightly off-white medium head. Light-sweet toast-malty aroma with shy notes of honey and caramel and a whiff of herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body with a smooth carbonation. Soft malty, toasty taste, slightly grainy with shy notes of honey; medium-dry, malt-accented and slightly bitter finish. Pretty rounded and likable.

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Yellow, clear body. White, fizzy head. Soapy, yeasty aroma. Lightly bitter, somewhat sweet flavour. Fizzy mouthfeel. Not so interesting.

An amber beer with a fine orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is slightly acidic and malty with a touch of citrus from the hops.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small, but stable off-white head; malty, grainy, a bit dusty nose with a tinge of hops; sweetis-malty start; soft bitter-sweet flavour; longer, slightly hoppy and malty finish. A solid Franconian Lager !

Honeyish malt aroma and aromatic hops in the aroma. Brown with arocky head and lace. Fruity malt and a good hop profile. Nothing dramatic here just solid really and well balanced . Dry prickling mouthfeel like in so many good well-lagered franconian beers. Maybe we should put this one down as a Kellerbier.
