Bottle from Speciaalbiercafé De Markies, Leeuwarden. Sweet roasty aroma with chocolate, oak chips, lactose, chocolate, caramel, a touch of molasses and definite soy sauce. Sweet, lactic, oaky and sugary. Mild roasty bitterness. Full body. Nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 10/2018, at Pien, 20190510) The beer poured black. Its head was small, fizzy and lightly brown. Aroma had dark chocolate, burnt malts and soy sauce. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, soy sauce, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. A too burnt brew but it hid its high ABV well.

Botella 33 Cl en el Gato que bebía cerveza Valladolid 18..01.. 2019. (r04). Color negro con espuma beige con buena retención. Sabores y aromas maltosos tostados con toques de suaves cafés y ligeras especias. Ligeras levaduras. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Se queda algo aguada y falta de densidad con suave amargo seco al final. Buena, aunque un poco más de densidad y fineza en el trago no estaría mal.

Draught @ Pien. Aroma has licorice and cocoa. Flavour has licorice, alcohol, some soy, mild saltiness and dark chocolate. Good.
