This American Strong Ale was brewed with macadamia nut flour and cocoa butter before fermentation. After aging in bourbon barrels it was filtered through more than one hundred pounds of macadamia nuts for their creamy, sweetly rich character. Brown sugar base notes from caramelized malt melt into the soft flavors of oak and Madagascar vanilla beans for a perfect sip of fresh-baked nostalgia. First released in 2018.

Bourbon! Smooth and sweet. Slightly macadamia, not much cacao, mostly bourbon, a bit of cookieness. Another gorgeous BL.

Bottle pour, enjoyed and split with luttonm. Thanks! Interesting brew to try here. A caramel brown pour, not as dark as I expected, with a thin foam head. A bold, cookie like spice to this strong ale. Snickerdoodle, as I've called similar beers, though there hasn't been many like this one. Brown sugar and cinnamon like notes. Smooth for such a heavy beer. Really interesting.
