Bottle (2020) pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Virtually opaque cola/maple syrup brown with ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon over caramel, vanilla and raisin (better as it warms). Taste is wonderful vanilla, bourbon, caramel, vague nuts, brown sugar. Smooth texture with soft carbonation, finish as taste w/o signs of alcohol. Bourbon too prevalent in aroma but great balance in taste!

2020 bottle drunk 8/31/24. Clear, amber-maple. No head. Smells like soft bourbon, cherry, maple and honey. Milk chocolate. Smells like it could be a bit sweet. Not tons of acid, but no booze. A bit flat in carb and flavor. Not getting the nuts, or really the cocoa butter. It's sweet but not too bad. Not syrupy or boozey. Maybe a half year or so more aging than it needed? Maybe not. Certainly needed time to dry out and it's balanced and malty and with easygoing barrel character. Still sweet, but manageable.

500 ml bottle shared by my boy, ClarkVV!! 2020 vintage. Aroma, soft caramel, vanilla, and mild bourbon. Good amount of toffee and rich malts with a lasting bourbon and a soft warming after the finish. Soft acid. Really good with 4 years of age.
Thanks Clark, aroma is toffee, raisin, dark fruit. Taste is smooth, but not getting alot of macadamia or cocoa butter ,but the age has helped this. Still a nice warming from the barrel.

Flaska från USA, 2020. Rostbrun med beige krona. Kolaremmar, kokos bodybutter, fruktläder, maltsötma, Bourbon, sockersött, knäck. Old school amerikansk strong ale med fina knäckiga toner, men snäll beska.

From some trade within the Netherlands, if memory serves me well. Pours a deep brown colour and an off white head with short retention. Aroma's: very sweet, boozy, bourbon, vanilla. Retronasal it's boozy, bourbon, vanilla, sweet, sweet fruit. Flavour is heavy sweet, but it's not bothering too much, because of the strong alcohol feel and aroma. Full bodied. Velvetty mouthfeel. Long finish, toffee-ish.

500ml (thx, Brian S.!) @ home shared with Andrey. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, nice tropical sugared fruits, honey, bourbon, more like a barleywine. Taste: along the same lines with some very interesting jammy notes, dark fruits and brown sugar. Overall: very interesting and complex.

The name just makes me think of Nile songs. Golden brown, no head, very sticky sweet, big vanillins. Low bitterness, has a nice bourbon accent. A bit boozy, but fun and unbalanced. I mean it's a bit sloppy. But fun.
