Stilen uppfanns i USA på 00-talet av några pionjärer som ville ta IPA till ännu högre höjder när det gäller maltkropp, humlearomer och humlebeska. 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is light butterish and grapefruity. Sweet, toasted malty and slight grapefruity. Bitter and greasy hoppy finish.

Bottle - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is medium sweet malty with some caramel, toffee, fudge, nice bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Odd, greasy hop aroma. There’s clearly some citrusy hops up there but they don’t work so well together. Rich, sweet fruity and malty nose but again this greasy and unclean hop composition. Bitter finish. Not so hot. 170115

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy pale amber, rich head. Vodka and citrus up front. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Alcohol dominates. some citrus and dill. Peppery finish medium bitterness.

Noe tåkete lys brun med høyt hvitt skum. Sydhavsfrukter og brøddeig i lukt. Bittersøt smak av ananas, grapefrukt og humle. Medium kullsyre.

Hazy deep golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Malty, fruity and grapefruit in the aroma. Ok body. Slightly sweet and a pleasant bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Tropical fruity, malty, and nice grapefruit hoppy flavor. Tasty nice ale.
