Today, 100 years after that Theodor Schiøtz insulted his last civil servant, his spirit is still part of these walls and our minds. Like him, we are proud to outdo conventions. This IPA is brewed with Mosaic, Motueka and Pacific Gem hop, as well as a pinch of rhubarb and elderflower, perfecting the fruity hop character. We have skipped bitter hops in order to avoid the dry bitterness.

Bottle, 5.4%. Caramelly and slightly citric aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable frothy white head. The flavour is caramelly with a mild piney hop note. Tastes like IPA to me, but not NEIPA. The label says it is filtered...

Bottle. Pours nearly clear orangeish amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, rather rough, and some fruity hints. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Acidic and estery afteraste. Again, a good idea, I think, but the body is rather thin.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear deep golden with an off-white head. Nose has a subdued tropical note and a hint of dankness. Medium body, fruity, a hint of caramel and now an even more pronounced dank note. Some late bitterness. I'd call this a fairly mediocre IPA by any standard, and a NEIPA it is certainly not! 180118
