From Amstein, best before 06/25, opening this bottle tonight, cool after to swim, best thing of the life: one beer, relax, interesting, smooth , mix of red ale with a light touch of lychee, fruity, a bit toffee, malty, bitter, yeasty.

Misted deep amber to brown with a good head. Caramel, toast, citrus fruits, pine. Medium dry, light to medium hop bitterness. Drinkable enough.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fairly fruity for the style, with notes of orange, stone fruit, marmalade, malt, light hoppy. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter with a hint of tartness. Medium body.

slightly opalescent mahogany colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish head; aroma of canned apple and pear, some orange/marmalade, dried cherry and prune notes; taste is quite the same with some honeycomb toffee and moderate roasted sunflower seeds notes; enjoyable one

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a small yet creamy, beige head. Fairly neutral aroma, not much showing. Medium body, some biscuit malts, yet very dry and perhaps a hint of tartness before a slight, finishing bitterness. I get no lychee and no lime, which is probably good. Drinkable at least. 280524

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een helder robijnrood bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van rood fruit. De smaak is fruitig, zacht zoet en hoppig.
