In September 2021, we handpicked biodynamically Gamay grapes from the Beaujolais region which we fermented (carbonique!) into natural wine. After primary fermentation, we blended the wine with barrel aged blackberry saison that was in contact with the Gamay skins for 3 days.

Poured from bottle @ MBCC 2023 red session (finally adding my notes). Hazy red with small white head. Gamay vinous notes, decent.

0,75l bottle at home. Red lightly hazy color, small white head. smells funky, red wine, berry notes, grassy, earthy. Lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes peppery, earthy, spices, herbal, red wine, grapes. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of grassy, earthy and wine notes. Very nice one, rather wine forward

MBCC 2023. Red amber with a small white head. Funky aroma with grapes and a mineral note. Dry and tart fruity flavour with oak.

Draught @ MBCC 2023, Copenhagen. Red Session. Pours cloudy red with a bubbly head. Vinous and dry. Red berries. Clean - touch of barnyard but perhaps lacking some funk. Harmless.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a clear rose with almost head. Aroma brings out lots of dry grape skins, some apple skins, and gentle barnyard funk. Flavour is bone dry, with lots of bone dry grape skins, some gentle apple skins, and moderate funk. Really nice addition of the grapes. Excellent.

During MBCC 2023 Saturday morning session with Matt, Brian, Ryan, Phill, Erik, and superhelpful and funny Rachel, hehe. Appearance: ok Aroma: nice funk and grapes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: nice and balanced.
