We brewed this pale ale with silly amounts of Idaho 7, Motueka and Cashmere hops along with an experimental yeast strain known for creating beers with voluptuous body and ripe tropical fruit flavours. WDYT? We dig it...

On tap at Patricks. An unclear yellow-orange beer with a small white head. Grapefruit, pine cones and a touch of tropical fruityness. It's medium bodied, dry and softly carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Grapefruit, pine cones, resin and a touch of tropical fruityness. Medium length finish. Super refreshing and quenching. A bit too gentle though. 231209

Keg at the Thirty Nine Steps, Broadstairs, 24/11/23. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a white cap that retains well. Nose is grass, melon, pale malts, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, airy malts, grass, hint of soap. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale ... off the pace compared to Beak's usual standards.

Draught Lacey small head over fully hazy yellow beer. Citrussy, dry citruspeel, asafoetida. Quite citrus-dominated, dry, yet some underlying orangey sweetness. Retronasal piney resin. Quite slick, medium bodied, good carbonation. Quite decent.
