Shared by Tyler: can: blond with white head. Pastry notes, but gives off a stoutish aroma. Sweetish, adjuncted. Better than average for the style.

Clear straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Malty aroma with chocolate and nuts in the background. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, roast nuts and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a caramel and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the magic tree in boardman. Clear pale with a neutral nose. Not sure how these things can be called a stout, no stout attributes what so ever. Just a plain old pale beer as far as I'm concerned. White stout, that's pretty ridiculous! Disappointing to say the least. Get this thing off the stout train, stout it is not.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a honey gold color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet caramel, nut, bread and honey. The flavor was sweet and a bit tangy with caramel, nut, honey and bread. Long finish. Full bodied.
