Taster at brewery. Dark brown pour, tiny ring of head. Sweet aroma, doesn't fit, light roast, cola. Sweetness kind of ruins the taste too. Cola, woody, mouth coating.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dry, bitter and woody with a bit of floral hops. The flavor was dryish and a bit roasty with moderate notes of wood and floral hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done to style but not a style I am that fond of.

Big and black. Fading choco moose head. Slight burnt aroma. Nice lacing. Quite friendly from the start, much better than expected. Yes, a civilized well behaved porter in the time of imperial, thanks. Good roasty mild porter with some burnt effects on the finish. Never over the top.
