Viven Smoked Porter is a fairly bitter porter beer, with a very smokey flavour. Accents of coffee and dark chocolate make for a powerful aroma in your glass.

Bouteille 33cl.

(bottle, 33cl) Black coloured hue with a huge brown and dense foamy head. Roasty and delicately smokey malty aroma with notes of leather, liquorice and a subtle berry-fruity touch. Roasty bitter flavour with a tinge of sweetness in the background, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Roasty malt-character with a whiff of ashes, liquorice and mocha; dry-ish roasty bitter and delicately smokey finish with notes of coffee in the aftertaste. Balanced and quaffable smoked Porter. 06.XII.10

Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Black pour with a decent beige head on top. Pleasant smoky/malty aroma. Tastes smokey, coffee, slight sweetness, hint of hops. Quite straightforward but also delicious. An incredibly smooth porter from Belgium, really easy to drink.

Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and roasted malt as well as lighter notes of smoke. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, medium notes of malt, and lighter notes of chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
