Bottle shared in London - cheers to Osprey. Pours black-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Big chocolate in the nose, torched corn and cereal. Medium to big sweet flavour, lots of ashy roast, baking cocoa, burnt cereal. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, some hot alcohol, more torched cereal, honey, baking cocoa, honeycomb. Good fun overall.

deep dark brown colour, large, dense and stable brown head; aroma of biscuit (konkrétan háztartási keksz), vanilla cream and some hazelnut;taste is the same with some roastedness and dark chocolate; great imperial stout

Bottle (at ujh). Pours black with brownish head. Aroma is sweet, vanilla, waffles,. Flavor is sweet and bitter, vanilla, waffles, tar, booze. Finish is dry and boozy. Overall: quite bad, where is the beer?!

On tap at Kanaal, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee grounds, light vanilla, and graininess. Flavour is very bitter, with lots of metallic notes, toasted graininess, earthy coffee grounds and light vanilla. Frankly, this is quite harsh and bitter, lacking the nuance and depth I expected from this. It's okay, but I don't understand the average rating here.

Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Strong milk chocolate, vanilla. Taste: Very sweet, molasses, cocoa, coffee with milk, caramel, notes of vanilla and roasted granola coming in after some seconds. Lightly boozy. Dark roasted malty, bittersweet finish. Full body, bit oily, low carbonation. Sticky. I can understand that a lot of people like this, but it's overkill of flavors for me. Just too much...
