330mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has some bready malts, stale toffee, and some brown sugar. Flavour is better, with sweet bready malt, caramel, brown sugar, and toffee. Actually pretty reasonably done, with a nice gentle malt presence for a barley wine. Decent.

Alcohol prima verborgen. Petje af wat dat betreft. Geur beetje oudekranterig, maar smaak gewoon ok. #locombia

Not too boozy. Nice Smokey flavor, and a bit lighter than a lot of barley wines. Probably the best beer I had on this trip, so a fitting one to end on. Salud Colombia, can’t wait to return! 🇨🇴
