Mustaa? Kyllä kiitos.
Oululaisen Naïlo Brewingin kanssa yhteistyössä toteutettu spiced porter on mustanmakkaran, tuon kansallisaarteemme, nestemäinen kumppani.
Helposti vedettävä porterpohja on ryyditetty meiramilla sekä puolukoilla. Meirami tuo keitokseen MUSTAN makumaailman vaativaa lihaisuutta ja puolukka taas… Noh, kyä tee tiärätte, ei kai ilman puolukkaa kukaan syö pötköä?
Naïlolla tehty kollabo kumarsi Unkariin, nyt pokkaamme Pirkanmaalle. Vai pyllistämme? Saako klassikolla leikkiä?

Can 440ml (PBF XIII)
Chestnut brown colour, small beige head. Toasted, malty, bready aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Cranberries over toasted malts. Quite tart. Not working for me.

--Canned at PBF XIII-- Dark brown, mid sized head. Leathery toffee aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, tobacco and salted caramel. Mid bitter finish.

44cl can. PBF XIII. Poured dark brown in color, light head. flavor has lingoberries, dryness, malts and some ashy notes.

Can@PBF XIII (from Himo shop). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, some floral, wooden and some smoked tones. Flavour is ashy, some wooden, mild nutty tones with some black currant elements too.

Smell of roasted malt, some lingonberry. Dark brown colour, light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, faint lingonberry and spices, finishes with some rye bread. Medium bitter, lightly sweet. Soft carbon.

Can at Kuja, Tampere. Color is reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Berries, lingonberries, some coffee... Weird. Probably much better as fresh...

44 cl can @ home. Canned 15.12.2022, BBE 12/2023 Aroma has toasted notes, mild spiciness and hints of sour tones. Also coffee and ash. Flavour has herbal spiciness, some licorice, coffee. Also some sour notes taking over after couple of sips. Okayish, did not pair that well with mustamakkara. I wonder if the sourness is intentional? Dunno if it comes from the lingonberries or if there's been an infection.
