--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Odd phenolic nose with weird esters, minerals and vegetables. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Orange, plastic and caramel. Mid bitter finish.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Copper colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, some floral and mild rum tones with some yeasty tones. Flavour is wooden, some slight caramel, alcohol, some and mild tartness.

Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter herbal flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, nutty brown with a huge, off-white head with good retention. Very fizzy pour. Malty, caramessish nose. Very elegant body, surprisingly light considering the alcohol and not really malt heavy. A bit fizzy in the mouth. Some oaky tannins while I cannot really detect the rum. Nice enough and drinkable although I'd probably have expected more potent malts. 110521
