Tokyo* Death is colossal. 15.0% ABV, seven different malts and an ageing potential well into the next decade; this beer is full-bodied, intensely roasty and lifted even further by jasmine and cranberry leaving a tartly bitter, floral aftertaste to mingle with the deep darkness.

330ml bottle. Black, small tan head. Aroma of dark/dried fruits, chocolate, alcohol. Taste is rich, dried fruits, raisin, plum, berries, chocolate, caramel, sweet malts, very boozy, warming, but not harsh. Full bodied, smooth. Really nice beer but very boozy, dropping the ABV a couple of percentage points might make this be even better.

Tap at Craft Room. Pitch black with a creamy tan head. Pungent aroma, dried fruit on chocolate, very creamy, quite alcoholic too though. Creamy maltiness, alcohol, random candied citrus fruit, very warming, very alcoholic, very tasty, but, again, very alcoholic. Oh well, interesting experience all in all!

At a tasting, no head, opaque black color, aroma of coconut, booze, wood and a hint of umami, lots of umami in flavor with some spiciness and an alcoholic bitterness, silky but much too sweet, bitter alcoholic aftertaste stays unpleasantly for a long time. Nice, but nothing more.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate, roast and alcohol in the nose. Heavy roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, notes of licorice and dried fruits with warming boozy finish.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, citrus fruits, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, dark chocolate, and prunes, leading to a bitter finish.
