Over quite a few brews of different IPAs, we've been trying to perfect this idea of a beer that is 6,5% vol. and liquid sunshine. While perfection is fleeting since the goal constantly moves, we know we probably won't reach it. Nor do we think we would want to. Stagnation would loom. But we'll give it a fair go every time.

Citra is the current superstar of the hop world. Citra is the most sought after hop variety because it offers an intense citrusy flavor and aroma that revolutionized IPAs. It pairs well with other varieties or is even strong enough to carry a beer on its own. So that’s whad we did. Let it carry a beer on it’s own that is.

Expect intense and citrusy, fruity profile, aroma of grapefruit, as well as sweet sun-ripened mango and pineapple and flavors of gooseberries, blackberries and red currants. It’s fruity with a subtle hint of lilac to round the aroma out with a gentle floral note.
