Idén till Vanlig kläcktes när prästsonen Mike klagade på att vi inte bryggde något "ljust och blaskigt" i vårt hembryggeri. Resultatet blev en ljus ale inspirerad av ölen som bryggs i Köln.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. (my first one from this brewery) A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Mild floral hops, bread, notes of honey and hay. Not that bitter.

[ As Gagnef Vanlig ].
ABV: 4.9%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, sweet malt, light flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, wheat, pale malt, fruity malt, floral, husks - chaff touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240120]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowiwsh golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, nectary, some grainy and mild herbal tones with some earthy tones. Flavour is herbal, nectary and some mild floral tones with some grainy and sweet malty tones.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Lightly hazy golden, small to medium head. Fruity nose with some honey. Mid sweet with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and mildly vegetable with faint floral hops. Low bitterness.
