3 Curses is our interpretation of a schwarzbier. Most scharzbiers are lagered but to cut down on time in the tank, we use ale yeast. This crispy but roasty black beer finishes clean and smooth like the Germans intended. The name 3 Curses came from the amount of times it took us to get this beer right. We believe that our brewery is haunted and some beers aren't meant to be made at the time. The spirits won't allow it. But sometimes, it's meant to be. Raise a glass to the spirits of 3rd Turn. Prost!
