Decent, a bit not cleanly fermented. All around okay beer, nothing special. Miezis Riga

On tap, filled to bottle. Smell- malt, roast, yeast, some caramel, but generally to the weak side. Foam- thin, bit to medium, malty, weak bitter and caramel notes. Head is medium to large even creamy brown, white color. Appearance- clear, orange, brown amber, some carbonation. Taste- malt, roast, weak sweetness, caramel, then some weak bitter notes, bit more roasted malt. Bitterness is present but very muffled. Good, I like it.

3/8/2019. Bottle at the Wrocław Grand Prix bottle share, from Lauvas Alus, Riga. Pours clear pale amber with an average sized bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, hops, biscuit and berries. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness and moderate tartness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Light tartness to finish, whether by design or not wasn't totally clear but we all quite liked this one.

On tap at O’Paps, Riga Nose unremarkable. Pours a slightly hazy burnished copper with small white head. Hoppy in the mouth but not much else to distinguish it. A hint of diacetyl maybe. Somewhat light for a Tumsais. I remain to be convinced this isn’t the Originalais under a different name.
