On tap at Olutravintola Pikkulintu, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of roasted malt, black liquorice, and some cocoa. Flavour is full of deep roasted malt, black liquorice, and some earthy hops. Deep roast and black liquorice to finish. Very good.

Draft. Black beer with a light brown head. Rich malt aroma. Toffee and light roast flavor with light licorice. Medium-plus bodied. Toffee and light licorice linger with light roast and light chocolate.

Smell of roasted malt, licorice, some tar. Black colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of licorice, tar, roasted malt, faint salmiakki/Sisu. Bitter, medium sweet. Dry palate, yet oily texture. Lively carbon. Great.

Tap at Kitty's. Dark red colour and mid-sized beige head. Roasted, coffeish, berryish aroma. Mediun-bodied. Roasted and berryish flavour. Licorice in the aftertaste. Not in the best shape?

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, mid sized head. Peppery calvados aroma with some coffee and dark chocolate. Fairly dry with near full body and firm, rounded mouthfeel. Apricot brandy coffee and mild chocolate. Warming bitter finish. Elegant and brandyish.

From keg @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured pitch black in color. Lots of licorice, malts, some oaty sweetness, light coffee and roasted malts. Finish is long with growing bitterness.

Draught@Konttori, Tampere. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some creamy tones with mild ashes, coffee and some liquorice as well. Flavour has some dried fruits, chocolate, ashy and roasted tones with some quite big hoppy elements too. Hides the alcohol well.
