Bottle BBE 2028. Pours opaque dark brownish black with large dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, sweet liquorice, almond, roasted hazelnut, and vanilla. Taste is very sweet, medium bitter, faint acidic and light salty. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, sweet liquorice, roasted hazelnut, and vanilla.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, beige head. Aroma of pure marzipan and starch (björnklister). Very sweet with medium to full body and sharp mouthfeel. Brown sugar and starchy marzipan. Astringent finish with chemical bitterness. Feels like a failed experiment in basic chemistry.

Black with a lasting tan head. Almond and marzipan aroma, with chocolate, vanilla and dried fruit in the background. Sweet roasted flavour with chocolate and coffee beans, along with almonds and a roasted, bitter finish. A bit over the top perfumed in the nose, but excellent beer flavours for something labelled pastry stout by the brewery.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is berries, some nutty, mild alcohol and some floral tones. Flavour is alcohol, some nutmeg, mild nutty and some fruity and berryish tones with mild alcohol burn to it.

Bottle from Super Brugsen @ Home. Pours black with a brown head, some sugary lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, sweet chocolate, cocoa, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, some alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 201123
