12 ounce can from Downer Wine, 4/30/19. Black, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, peppers, roast, chocolate. Taste is peppers, green coffee, roast, chocolate. Thin, low carb. Very disappointing. Could been great. Seems off.

Thanks Walt for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing dark brown with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of coffee brightened by a bit of lactose. Coffee tends to edge much more towards the vegetal bell pepper side but lactose balances it out a little bit. The palate is full bodied and foamy. Very strong coffee forwardness with the same vegetal bell pepper notes on the palate balanced out with lactose to smooth it out and give it a slight brightness. Not bad

355ml can. Dark brown pour, some brown foam there. Nose has nice roast, sweet dark fruits, some chocolate, coffee and toffee. Tastes has roast, coffee, burnt malt and nice lingering roast bitterness. Lightly sweet. Pretty solid for what it is.

Dark brown color. Lots of molasses, dark chocolate notes, roasted coffee and some dark fruit notes. Tons of dark fruit, semi sweet, not too acidic. Roastiness isn’t too strong. Nice.
