Pour is a black with a very minimal tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted char malt with some dark chocolate notes. Flavor is more intense roasted malt with a sweet cocoa powder dryness. Finish has more of a bitter char malt with some roasted coffee notes. I did not get a huge coffee and may not have even known there was coffee in here. That is not a bad thing, it just mean the malt base was just really well done. Very flavorful, roasty and warming porter.

Sample at The Source. Brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee, malt and chocolate aroma. Medium body with flavors of roast coffee, malt, dark chocolate and a touch of hops. The finish is roasty with an espresso aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
