Bottle 330ml (Alko)
Dark, almost opaque color, small brownish head. Aroma has smoke and tobacco ash. Medium-bodied. Front has licorice, then smoke and toasted malts. Aftertaste has some bitterness and dark malts. Easy to drink rauchbier with all components in balance. Aroma wasn’t so special, but like its taste and drinkability.

Bottle. An unclear, dark reddish golden beer wtih a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma has a faint smoked note, with dark caramel and chocolate, some roasted malts and a nice hoppy touch. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a soft carbonation. Semi-dry, with some malty sweetness. Caramel, dark chocolate, some smoke and roasted malts. Lasting roasted and chocolatey finish. I think I’d prefer it more on the smoked side, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 150227

An almost black beer with a weak and light brown head. Good aroma has lots of gentle smoke, liquirice, roastiness and smoked meat. Taste is dryer and more harsh than aroma, dry smoke, roastiness, some coffee. Herbal and tight end. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Some tightness in the taste that is slightly bothering, without that this beer would be in the heavy weight class. Good and balanced smokyness.
