Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, nectary and some slight coriander with mild herbs. Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild earthy tones with a bit wheaty tones to it.

44cl can. Vasa tasting 2026.
Poured clear and golden in color. Dense head.
Light spiciness in nose, dryness, wheat and coriander like notes. Dry with a yeasty bitter finish.

Gekocht op 9-08-2025 bij Biergigant Dendermonde. En thuis mijn nieuwsgierige smaakpapillen toch kunnen geruststellen op 25-10-2025.
Witty Nelson wordt af en toe gebrouwen bij Slaapmutske in opdracht van de Estse VAAT-brouwerij.
Slaapmutske brouwt sinds 2000 hun eigen bieren onder de merknaam Slaapmutske. Deze zijn zowel in het binnen- als buitenland te verkrijgen.
Sinds 2025 zijn ze door een overname ook trotse eigenaar van het bier L'Arogante. Ze zetten op continue basis in op productontwikkeling en zijn steeds op zoek naar nieuwe ideeën of samenwerkingen!
WITTY NELSON is een helder blond bier dat een normale hoeveelheid wit dik-wollig schuim produceert dat naderhand evenwel inzakt tot een fijn dun laagje. Het blijft sterk aan je glaswand kleven en je ziet maar weinig fijne CO2 belletjes.
HET AROMA:
Licht zurig, citrus, pompelmoes, mout, tarwe, hopkruidig, heel klein beetje witte wijn tint.
DE SMAAK:
Licht zurig, beetje citroen, pompelmoes, mout, tarwe, kruidige hop.
HET MONDGEVOEL:
Medium body, bitterdroog, gladde textuur, medium koolzuur prikkeling.
DE NASMAAK:
De pompelmoes vloeit wat uit, licht zurig, beetje citroen, pompelmoes, mout, tarwe.
HET TOTAALGEVOEL:
Een harmonieus bier.
HET VERDICT:
Een verfrissend, leuk en smakelijk biertje. Zou gedryhopped zijn maar daar weinig tot niets van weergevonden.

Draft. Slightly hazy amber beer with a cream head. Spice and light white wine aroma. White wine and tropical fruit flavor. Medium bodied. White wine and tropical fruit linger with wheat.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a lacing, white head. Nose is mostly herbal, bordering medicinal - not really how a Wit should be. Medium body, tart lemons with a bitter and astringent finish. This is no good at all. 231120

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.
