Draught@Stones, Helsinki. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is citrus, some fruity and floral tones with mild roasted and some nutty and chocolaty tones. Flavour is nutty, some coffee tones, roast and mild dried fruity and some toasted tones to it.

(Keg at Stones, Helsinki, 20150220) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, dense and nearly white. Aroma had liquorice, saltiness, burnt malts and sweetness. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A very strong-flavoured porter. Not bad but too unbalanced.

Draught. Black colour and a tan head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and salty liqourice, as well as a hint of some citrus (maybe grape?). Moderate sweetness and bitterness, with a bitter finish. It’s a bit thin; some more thickness/oilyness would do good.

Tap at William K. Tennispalatsi, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, hints of coffee and roasted malts. Very soft and enjoyable. Nice surprise. Little bit of stronger body and this beer would be excellent. Nice hoppiness at the end.

Draught @ William K. Tennispalatsi
Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, grassy hops, licorice and dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, roasty and sweetish with hints of salty licorice, wood and ash. Finish is hoppy, smooth and a bit roasty with some salty licorice, hints of strange off flavors and ash. Feels a bit off, but somehow I like this.

Draught @ Black Door as "E. Indicus Indian Porter". Aroma is nicely roasted wich coffee and mocha. Also licorice Flavour has salty licorice, herbal tones and hints of ash. Somewhat too ashy, hoppy and thin but nice anyway. I like the licorice tones here. Not sure how this differs from Konttorirutto or Pläkki though. An overdose of cold coffee.

Tap at Black Door. Dark brown color, decent brownish head, lace. Coffeeish, a bit ashy nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, slightly ashy flavor with backing citrus fruity hoppyness. Quite good. Reminds me about some Kernel porters.
