A real circus of a beer. An Imperial Brown Ale aged in bourbon barrels, then blended with a touch of fresh beer and a bunch of vanilla beans. A burlesque nocturnal treat. This one’s a sipper.

Draught@Lakeuden panimojuhlat 2020. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, roasted malts, coffee, some vanilla, alcohol and wooden notes. Flavour is liquorice, vanilla, wood, some bitterness, cold very dark coffee and some alcohol tones. Warming, but still pleasant to drink. Excellent sipper.

440ml can. Sweetish, roasty and chocolatey with loads of vanilla, coffee, some hints of stingy bourbon, wood, oak, warming alcohol and bitter hoppiness. Quite a lot of hops here, actually. Okay.

0,44l can from the brewery shop, Espoo. Almost black beer with medium but quite quickly vanishing brown head. Aroma has weird domination of cowberry. After it has been found, all the other notes are lying deeply behind the cowberry. There's also some malts, chocolate, coffee and vanilla, but however, way too weird this is. Flavor has roasted dark malts and coffee. Bourbon is hiding quite well. Some vanilla and berries can be can be also found. Dry ending. Medium body. Overall I was expecting even more. Aroma is too weird and flavor bit too dry and burned.
