Mallaskuun Hunaja on vaalea, kevyen hunajainen ja keksinen makunautinto. Vaalea ulkokuori kätkee alleen paikallisen hunajan makeuden ja kukkaisuuden, mutta myös maltaisen maun. Kevyt, täyteläinen ja tasapainoinen olut, jossa voi melkein haistaa kesän tuoksun. Hunaja sopii hyvin yhteen sushin ja vähärasvaisten lihojen kanssa.

Can 44 cl. Clear, deep golden - borderline amber - with a lacing, fluffu, off-white head. Biscuity nose with a stint of honey. Medium body, same biscuit and toffee with a honey touch, not overly sweet and the bitterness is perfectly balanced. Very well made. 281025

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear amber, small head. Honeyish nose. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and honey. Low bitterness.

Bottled (thanks VP!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is honey, some spruce, mild sweet malts, toffee and overall quite sweet. Flavour is sweet malts, some honey and mild spruce and wood. Nice honey aftertaste.

Draught @ Winston Olutjuhla 2022. Rated on 12.08.2022 Aroma has hay, chocolate and grain. Flavour has grain, hay and milky tones. Grainy and musty, the honey is not that evident.

Bottled 330ml (Winston BF)
Hazy amber colour, not much head. Aroma has harsh malts and honey. LIght-bodied. Not real honey in the flavour, just harsh sweetness, grassy hops. Quite messy and harsh beer which doesn't gain from honey.

Mild smell of malt. Muddy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of earth, malt. Not too much honey to be found. Stuffy. Sort of bitter.
